This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you use vendysteinberga.com (the “Site”) and interact with our free resources and application forms (together, the “Services”). It also describes your rights under applicable data protection laws.
We’re a UK company. We comply with UK GDPR and, where relevant, the EU GDPR.

1) How we collect personal data

We collect personal data in these ways:

Directly from you:

  • Free resources / newsletters: when you submit your name and email to receive resources or join our mailing list.
  • Apply to work with me: when you complete an application form to explore working together.
  • Contact forms / email: when you contact us.

Automatically:

  • Cookies & similar tech (analytics/marketing pixels).

From third-party platforms:

  • Skool community (free community hosted by Skool.com). Your use of Skool is also governed by Skool’s terms and privacy policy. We may view and manage information you share there (e.g., membership approvals, posts) but Skool operates the platform.

2) The personal data we collect

  • Identity & contact: name, email, business name, role, website, social handles, phone (if provided).
  • Application details: answers you provide about your business, goals, revenue ranges, and project fit.
  • Marketing preferences: your newsletter/subscription status.
  • Usage data: IP address, device/browser info, pages viewed, timestamps, referral source (via cookies/analytics — see Cookie Policy).

We do not intentionally collect special category data (e.g., health, religion) via the Site. Please don’t include it in forms.

3) Why we use your data (purposes) and lawful bases

Purpose: Send you requested freebies / newsletters / updates
Example activities: Deliver freebies, ongoing marketing emails
Lawful basis: Consent (you can withdraw anytime)

Purpose: Process and assess applications to work with us
Example activities: Review submissions; schedule calls; follow up
Lawful basis: Legitimate interests (pre-sales assessment) and/or Contract (pre-contract steps)

Purpose: Operate, secure, and improve the Site
Example activities: Diagnostics, analytics, debugging, preventing abuse

4) Cookies & pixels

We use cookies and similar technologies (including analytics and, where applicable, remarketing pixels). Details, including categories, retention, and consent choices, are in our Cookie Policy.

5) Sharing your data (processors & recipients)

We share data only as needed to run our business with service providers (“processors”) that act on our instructions, including:

  • Email marketing / CRM: Kit (email delivery, subscriber management).
  • Forms & scheduling: Calendly (call booking and reminders).
  • Analytics & tag management: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
  • Hosting / CDN / security: Showit (website hosting/platform); Squarespace (domain & DNS).
  • Communications / productivity: Google Workspace (email, files).

Advertising & remarketing (may use):

  • Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads / YouTube tags for measurement and retargeting. Where required, these run only with your consent via our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details and controls.

We only use established platforms (listed above) to process data on our behalf. These providers include built-in safeguards under GDPR and similar laws. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t let providers use it for their own purposes.

6) International transfers

Some providers we use are outside the UK/EEA (for example, in the United States). When they process data, they include safeguards in their terms (like EU/UK-approved contractual clauses) to keep your data protected.

7) How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes set out in this Policy, for example:

  • Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe or we decide to remove inactive contacts as part of routine list management.
  • Applications: until your application has been reviewed and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months), unless you become a client (in which case our client agreement and legal duties apply).
  • Analytics/log data: per our Cookie Policy or the tool’s standard retention settings (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Legal/compliance: as long as necessary to comply with law or to protect our rights.

We may retain minimal suppression data to ensure we respect future unsubscribe or objection requests.

8) Your rights

You have rights over your personal data, including under UK GDPR and, if you are in the EU, the EU GDPR. These include:

  • Access (get a copy)
  • Rectify (correct inaccuracies)
  • Erase (delete)
  • Restrict processing
  • Object (including to direct marketing)
  • Portability (receive data in a machine-readable format)
  • Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

9) Children

Our Site and Services are directed at business professionals and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data (access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege, etc.). No system is 100% secure; please take care when sharing information online.

11) Third-party links

If you use embedded content (e.g., YouTube videos) on our Site, those providers may collect data about you in line with their own policies.

12) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version with an updated Effective date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or on-site notice.
